A few things you'll find around Collbran, that you may not have encountered elsewhere...
People you don't know may just walk up to you, say hello and introduce themselves...
People you don't know will wave when you drive by or meet them on the road.
You'll find that people and animals are more important than things...
Even if you've lived in the valley for 20 years, you'll still probably be called a newcomer!
But you are a neighbor; and here, just about everyone knows his neighbor!
If you see someone trying to "keep up with the Jones," they're both probably on horses or 4-wheelers.
We encourage you to get involved in your new community. No matter what your interests are, chances are quite good that you will find at least one person of like mind!
